Student wellbeing is a core focus for staff at Barham High. Wellbeing initiatives in place include:
· Year advisers to act as a mentor teacher for each year group
· Numerous orientation days to assist with a smooth transition to the high school environment
· The Merit & Award program at BHS acknowledges the achievements of the students
· A safe, secure and caring learning environment

· Drug and Alcohol awareness workshops

The school utilises our own funding to heavily subsidise these excursions to make them accessible for all students, as we value the educational outcomes that these excursions have towards the curriculum.
